For brands
OBCO gives the compliance and quality teams of brands, importers and buying offices independent audits across Türkiye, fast reporting, confidentiality, system integration and visibility down to subcontracted workshops.
What does a brand get from working with OBCO?
You see what is happening in the Türkiye part of your supply chain, first-hand, independently and in a comparable format. We audit against your criteria, report in your format and follow findings until they are closed.
What we offer your compliance team
- National coverage: audits in every region through a central team and local auditors
- Fast reporting: findings with evidence and severity ratings, zero-tolerance issues immediately
- Confidentiality: reports are shared only with you, and nothing seen in an audit is used elsewhere
- Integration: planning, reporting and CAP tracking in our own digital system or in your software
- Custom programmes: checklists, audit programmes and scoring designed for your brand
- One partner: social compliance, QMS, product inspection, store audits, sustainability and training
Why are subcontracted workshops a risk of their own?
In Türkiye a large share of garment production is passed by the main supplier to subcontracted workshops. Orders placed with a workshop the brand has not approved are where social compliance risks most often appear: unregistered work, long hours and safety gaps usually surface at this link.
In our audits we compare capacity with order volumes and production records with shipping documents, and we ask where the work is really being done. Where needed, we audit the workshops themselves.
How is EU regulation changing supply chain due diligence?
For brands selling into Europe, being able to show what happens in the supply chain matters more and more. The EU Forced Labour Regulation will apply from 14 December 2027 and bans products made with forced labour from the EU market. The scope of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), meanwhile, has been narrowed.
We recommend reviewing what these rules mean for your brand with your legal advisers. Our part is to produce the independent, regular evidence from the factory floor that your decisions can rest on.
