This notice explains how OBCO Audit processes the personal data in the requests and messages you send it under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

Under Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) the data controller is OBCO Denetim, Mahmutbey Mah. Taşocağı Yolu Cad. No: 1/8, Polat Tower, Bağcılar / İstanbul.

Which personal data do we process?

When you send us a request, we process only the information you provide:

Name and surname
Company name
E-mail address
Telephone number
The content of your message

For what purpose and on what legal basis is your data processed?

Your data is processed solely to answer your request, prepare a quote and communicate with you about it.

This processing rests on KVKK Article 5/2-c, being directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, and on KVKK Article 5/2-f, our legitimate interest in answering your request, provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms. Your data is not used for marketing.

How is your data collected and who is it shared with?

Your data reaches us by e-mail: the request you prepare on our website is sent from your own e-mail client to OBCO Denetim's corporate address. The website itself stores nothing and passes nothing to third parties.

Your data is not sold or shared for marketing and is not transferred abroad. It may be shared with competent public authorities only where there is a legal obligation to do so.

How long is your data kept?

Your data is kept only for as long as is needed to answer your request; if the request does not lead to a business relationship, it is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised. If a business relationship is established, the retention periods required by the relevant legislation apply.

What are your rights under KVKK Article 11?

By applying to the data controller you may exercise the following rights:

To learn whether your personal data is being processed
To request information about it if it is
To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose
To know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom it has been transferred
To request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate
To request deletion or destruction under the conditions set out in KVKK Article 7
To request that correction, deletion or destruction be notified to the third parties the data was transferred to
To object to a result that is to your detriment arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems
To claim compensation for damage suffered through unlawful processing

You can send requests concerning your rights by e-mail to info@obcoaudit.com or in writing to the address above. Your application is concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on its nature.
